I like the idea of a Player’s World Book.
You can access it by using the main menu (upper left icon on website) or by doing a simple site search (upper right icon on website).
I’ve been trying various ways of presenting it for the players, something that could be referenced in-game. A sort of common knowledge that can be assumed for anyone or thing existing in Cordotha. It serves two purposes really. One is to aid in discovery players wait for there turn in game and two, in the 2-3 weeks in between games it gives the players something to look at, add to or comment on.
Embedding it within the blog so far has seemed the best way: Can’t remember the road to Perthius? Look it up. What was the name of that NPC who borrowed money from the shady Burgomaster? Look it up. The idea is good but in practice it seems a bit clumsy to implement, or perhaps it’s just easier to talk about it in-game than look it up. Either way I’m putting a little work into the blog this week.
